A personal brand is not just a famous name, but your reputation and a guarantee that you do your job well.

For example, there is a lot of competition in the labor market. To find a job and get a good position, you need to make an impression and show that you are truly an expert in your field. Step 1: Analyze yourself, define your expertise

Step 3: Develop a strategy and create a content plan
Analyze your competitors' accounts and how they position themselves on social networks. Think about what goals and objectives you want to achieve, how you plan to communicate with your audience and attract subscribers. Then make a plan for publishing on your account. It's better not to mix professional advice with recipes for your favorite dishes, stick to the topic of your blog. Make a list of topics for several weeks in advance, so you can prepare better content and publish new posts on time.

Step 4: Write your story
People do not become experts in one day, there is always a long and winding road behind success. Tell your audience about it, why you decided to become a specialist in this field and not in another, what was the impetus (an incident, advice from a loved one). Where did you study the profession, what courses, trainings, webinars did you take, how did you start your career, what difficulties did you have to overcome. A personal story will help you open up to the audience and make friends with them.

The first and simple step in developing a personal brand is to create a social media account that will serve as your personal business card. Therefore, it is worth taking the design of the page and your photos seriously.

This is an organic approach, when people talk about you and recommend you to their friends.

When you promote your personal brand, it is very important that it matches your real status. Nowadays, many people are chasing subscribers and reach, without having enough expertise. In my opinion, a personal brand should develop in a balanced way in accordance with your current level. If you are just starting out, you have 100 subscribers, be honest with your audience, talk about what you are studying and what you are striving for. Do not try to throw dust in their eyes and talk about successful success, this is already an anti-trend. Be open, do not be afraid to write about your mistakes and failures, this will help you get closer to people. Perhaps your example will be useful to someone and will help solve the problem. Move away from neophyteism: if you read an article about a marketing tool yesterday, this does not mean that you have become a marketer.

A personal brand is a small media space where you can use content to implement your tasks. For example, my tasks are to receive invitations to conferences, orders for creating educational products for corporations, and attract new clients. Everyone has different goals, so a content strategy should be developed based on specific tasks, but at the same time be as balanced as possible with a clear understanding of who your target audience is and what benefit you can bring to the reader. If there is no obvious benefit and a specific audience, and the content is made for everyone and little by little, then you will get a semi-finished product that will have no value.

Before launching your social media account, analyze your competitors to understand your target audience and develop a promotion strategy. But you shouldn’t completely imitate them or use other people’s materials. It’s important to work on the content yourself and make it unique.
